    * Configures and maintains enterprise WAN and LAN environment, including implementation, configuration, coordination, control, maintenance, troubleshooting, usage monitoring, and development of specialized procedures relating to the use of the environment.

    * Plays a key role in developing and exercising disaster recovery processes for the long-term disaster recovery function of I/S to provide the highest level of protection possible for the enterprise.

    * Plays a key role in maintaining and improving systems monitoring.

    * Provides internal customer service and support.

    * Assures quality customer service to all customers; promotes positive human relationships and contributes to supportive and cooperative work environment. Maintains positive, friendly demeanor when interacting with all customers.

    * Serves as second level resource to the Help Desk and IT staff regarding software applications and network questions/problems.

    * Participates in after hour's on-call rotation for Emergency Network/Server support.

    * Updates Ticketing system with resolutions and adds solutions to the knowledgebase when appropriate.

    Skills and Requirements

    3-5 years network engineer exp

    Strong command of the Cisco operating system and Nexus operating

    Familiarity with patching

    Solar Winds experience Experience with Cisco Ise, Cisco FTD, and Cisco DNA null
