    Tool Hook Up – Project Engineer

    Rate: $42 - $48 hourly

    The business scope covers tool hook up in various processes such as: Lithography, CMP, photomask, wafer and mask inspection, consumable spare parts, SOI wafer, LCD process and inspection equipment and materials; outsourcing service in tool manufacturing; clean room and MEP turnkey projects, DI water, gas and chemical supply systems, wastewater treatment systems, facility monitoring and control system, and more.

    Job overview:

    The Project Engineer reporting to the Project Manager, is responsible for reviewing 3D models and drawing, holding technical discussions with subcontractors and design engineers, monitoring material specification, quantity and quality, controlling budget and payment for the project.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    + Review and interpret 3D models & drawings in a fab setting.

    + Collaborate with clients, Project Manager, design engineers and subcontractors to determine schedule.

    + Coordinate materials and equipment specifications, quantity, and quality as per the system needs.

    + Hold technical discussions with design engineers for any design change and make necessary approval for such revision.

    + Assess and evaluate contractors` proposal, scope of work and quotation as per drawing.

    + Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient.

    + Manage all incoming invoices by reviewing construction work report, quality inspection reports and project budget.

    Qualifications:

    + Bilingual Mandarin/English preferred

    + Project or semiconductor fab construction experience

    + Semiconductor tool hookup experience preferred

    + Associates+ of electrical/mechanical engineering

    + Outstanding oral and written communication skills, analytical skills, and time management skills
