The **Manager I** is a leader within the Innovation and Digital Care Transformation team and is accountable for the project objectives that drive clinical and operational digital transformation, customer experience, and other activities as assigned by the System Director.
The Manager I is responsible to execute tactical implementation of multiple processes which have significant impact on the Digital and Innovation and the organization as a whole facilitating project and program critical to CommonSpirit Health, and exercising control and supervision of processes, projects and significant resources.
Responsibility addresses oversight of designated ITD processes and projects that involve multiple processes within the organization. Senior Manager will usually have responsibly for outcomes across the multiple processes as assigned. Incumbents supervise staff including conducting performance
The Manager I will oversee day-to-day operational management of all activities and functions in the respective assigned multiple processes including developing, implementing and evaluating operating policies, procedures and standards; determining service levels and enhancements; developing and monitoring budgets; providing technical advice and/or oversight to staff or other departments related to are of assignment; evaluating information concerning needs; estimating and coordinating program/unit activities and associated costs; and tactical project execution activities.
The Manager I will also ensure clear definition of the projects requirement and objectives, ensuring that the projects defined deliverables meet the business requirements.
The Manager I will supervise staff including conducting performance evaluations, coordinating training, and implementing hiring, discipline and termination procedures.
The role is a leader in the development of the organization’s innovation and digital transformation strategy and is responsible and accountable for delivering the best-practice approach designed to successfully plan and prepare for all aspects of project engagement, delivery and adoption within the assigned portfolio.
**Essential Job Responsibilities**
+ Key resource for the Innovation & Digital Care Transformation program encompassing the development of relationships between IT and the organizations multiple customer constituencies including: patients, consumers, providers, clinical staff, administrators, and employees across CommonSpirit Health.
+ This position is vital to the organizations efficient operation in terms of well- managed systems that will ensure the financial success and ability to cope with the pressures of shrinking revenues, and our market strategy to grow and expand into the future.
+ Responsible for establishing and maintaining channels of communication between business, IT and other relevant stakeholders.
+ Responsible of leadership and removing barriers for project managers that are developing and delivery key initiatives.
+ Responsible for the direct supervision and management of project resources, including project manager and business solution analysts.
+ Contributes to the implementation of department's operational and strategic goals and objectives. Ensures departments collaboration on achievement of goals and objectives
+ Proactively prepares report and/ or documentation providing business details to staff and management identifying business and patient trends, defining metrics, and recommending solutions
+ Contributes to tracking assigned budget and resources for each project. Prepares cost estimates and cost recommendations. Monitors expenditures.
+ Ensure compliance with all policies, financial stewardship by being accountable for the financial integrity around development and maintenance of project budget.

+ 3+ years of relevant technical and business experience.
+ 3 years information technology leadership experience
+ Experience managing large teams and building relationships with people at a variety of levels
+ Demonstrated ability to launch and deliver one or more IT project(s) on time and within budget
+ Project Management experience in a Health care environment preferred.
+ 3 years with strong functional understanding of hospital, clinic, and billing operations preferred
+ Bachelor’s Degree in a Related Field or Equivalent Professional Experience preferred
**Licensure and Certification:**
+ PMI Certification preferred
+ Possess thorough knowledge and understanding of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures for program management and facilitating highly complex project preferred
+ Experience in Project Management methodologies and tool sets – waterfall/agile/scrum, planning, issue escalation, problem resolution, conflict and collision management, metrics and reporting, communications, techniques, tools etc. strongly desired.
+ Possess strong understanding of digital technology, clinical information systems, and how clinical information is integrated into the patient, consumer, and provider digital experience
+ Ability to manage business sponsor relationships, and navigate political landscape
+ Understanding of Finance and Accounting principles in relation to project budgets, purchasing and analysis of financial results
+ Negotiation skills
+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Communication for results
+ Decisiveness/Ability to make a quick assessment of the scope of an issue and provide options for its closure
+ Ability to develop strategic business cases for departmental or project specific initiatives
+ Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project & Word
+ In depth knowledge of Information Systems (software, hardware, network)
+ In depth knowledge of the architectural system components, business processes and applications to minimize the impact of changes in software, hardware or network
+ Demonstrates ability to manage effective business relationships at all levels of the organization, up to and including c-suite executives
+ Experience in process improvement; Lean Six Sigma principles and/or business process management preferred
