**Responsibilities:**

In your role as Silicon Carbide Reliability Engineer with direct customer interfacing:

+ You work in close collaboration with the internal cross-functional teams developing and qualifying SiC technologies (or any of their process improvements), building up a strong technical background, both intrinsic and extrinsic, to guide the teams in interpreting the results, especially when results are not meeting the requirements. For each project, you are expected to contribute to the definition of the qualification plan and are actively involved in all phases till final completion. You directly interact with the Reliability Labs, making sure qualification is flawless and data integrity is guaranteed.

+ You perform the data analysis and report back to the teams. You also present results to external customers, sharing detailed technical data to facilitate collaboration and increase customers’ confidence in onsemi products. You will be in direct contact with the Product Line Managers for Automotive Traction Solutions of the Power Solutions Group (PSG) business unit.

+ You are responsible for identifying potentially missing Intrinsic Reliability information based on publications or on inputs from customers. You launch the related internal (new) initiatives with the relevant Reliability Labs. You work very closely with R&D colleagues from the Business Unit and leverage on their deeper academic knowledge and connection to universities. For this task, standardization of the approach is a strict requirement.

+ You support the technical leads in the Business Units to review Quality & Reliability sections of customers’ specifications (as for example in the frame of a Request For Quote – RFQ). You are in regular contact with Field Application Engineers (FAE) on any reliability aspects to be clarified at customer’s side.

+ International standards related to Silicon Carbide are evolving fast in order to stay in sync with the market requirements. One of your goals is to become an active member of a JEDEC or/and AEC – Wide Bandgap working group(s).

+ Publication of articles to increase visibility of onsemi for Silicon Carbide products is another of your goals, including internal dissemination of knowledge to other departments.

The Sensor Validation Engineer will have experience validating high bandwidth sensors using rigorous data collection and analysis methods. This employee will work closely with the algorithm and software teams to design and execute tests for evaluating the radar sensors performance and reliability. They will be expected to perform root cause data analysis and generate cohesive test reports and documentation. Data collection is done outside on vehicles.

Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or physics

+ Experience in data analysis, including statistics

+ Experience using MATLAB, Python or similar for data analysis

+ Experience presenting complicated topics to high level stakeholders

+ Validate driver’s license

+ Comfortable manipulating large multi-dimensional data sets

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Job Summary:

We are seeking early to mid-career Engineers to join the Signature Management & Technology Team. This will be onsite at our Tucson location. At Raytheon, you will be part of a team whose responsibilities span the full lifecycle of the product- from initial conceptual design to modeling and analysis, from component to missile level RCS testing, and production support to maintainability.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

+ Stealth (design, analysis, computational electro-magnetics (CEM), and/or test)

+ Proposal Writing and Basis of Estimate (BOE) development.

+ Provide effective personal interaction and collaboration with a multi-disciplined team and customers.

+ Integrated Product Team (IPT) leadership

+ Will provide project management including the ability to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs, or systems.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Experience in Low Observable (LO) engineering

+ A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

+ Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance .

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Working knowledge of computational electromagnetic codes to include full wave codes, as well as asymptotic techniques using industry standard tools such as XPATCH, CARLOS, SENTRi, etc.

+ Infrared (IR) signature analysis and reduction experience including IR CEM tools

+ Master’s degree in physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

+ Programming expertise in C++, MATLAB, or other technical language

+ Experience with Infrared signature analysis and control

+ This position is focused on product and manufacturing quality and supports Production, Incoming Inspection, Purchasing, Customers, Suppliers and Engineering. This function interprets, defines, and develops product quality requirements, as needed. It is also responsible for identifying, analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving complaints and non-conformance issues. In addition, this position will drive continuous improvement activities in product quality as well as quality management system processes.

+ Understanding and experience in AQL inspection, control plans and interpretation of spec and drawings.
