+ Lead proposal and study effort for US customers maintaining liaison with technology teams.

+ Attend customer meetings with business development managers to provide technical input to proposals, contract negotiations, customer technical due diligence. This will principally be in

+ Develop process simulations where needed.

+ Work with external project partners, including to evaluate data, develop flowsheets and technology as needed by the project.

+ Keep up to date with relevant patents and literature

+ Work with R+D, innovation and commercial teams within JM as needed for each project

**Requirements for the role:**

+ Degree / PhD in Chemical Engineering - (PhD desired )

+ Proficient in use of Engineering Software, eg Hysys, ProII, Aspen+ Relevant syngas experience, (both in production via reforming technologies or in downstream utilization)

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, laser/light transmission devices or specialized test equipment. To be considered for this role, you will have an Associate's Degree in a related discipline, plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Due to the nature of the work performed in this facility, US citizenship is required.

Advanced Engineering Technician Job duties:

* Interprets basic engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics.

* Constructs, modifies, debugs, troubleshoots, calibrates, tests and adjusts a variety of tools, equipment and systems.

* Conducts, analyzes and documents statistically based experiments to define process parameters.

* Implements and documents complex solutions for process improvement.

* Designs and constructs basic tooling and fixtures to accomplish unique tasks.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

* An Associate's degree in related discipline or equivalent plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

* Solid knowledge and proficiency in the use of fabrication tools.

* Ability to fabricate complex hardware.

* Solid knowledge of generally accepted technical theory.

**PAY RANGE**

The Target Pay Range for this position is $178,900-$218,400 annually. The full Pay Range is $138,800-$258,500 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

+ Contribute to Code Quality and Extensibility: Contribute to BECU code quality, code reuse, and code extensibility, and define coding standards across the enterprise.

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in technical or business discipline, or equivalent work or education-related experience required.

+ Minimum 10 years of experience designing software and writing production code in a team environment required.

+ Minimum seven years of experience with Secure Development best practices required.

+ Proven ability to learn new/emerging technologies and deliver highly scalable solutions in a polyglot environment required.

+ Experience with public cloud (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud) technologies required.

**Desired Qualifications:**

+ Demonstrated expertise in .NET, C#, node.js, and modern JavaScript Frameworks in TypeScript or Javascript, or Python.

+ High-level expertise in two or more of the following domains: server-side web dev, client-side web dev, REST/web services, large scale data analytics using Machine Learning frameworks, networking and service mesh.

+ Expertise in SOLID design principles, Object-Oriented Programming and Design, and SOA patterns and distributed systems design.

+ Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

+ Experience with Core Banking systems strongly preferred.
