As an Engineering Technician, you will perform a variety of duties related to the functional responsibilities in supporting activities in computer aided engineering/computer aided drafting (CAE/CAD), design automation, and software support. Responsibilities As an Engineering Technician you will: Prepare preliminary and final civil/electrical design drawings for substations. This includes scaled layout drawings showing bus and equipment configurations and foundations, plan and elevation views as well as wiring diagrams using AutoCAD software. Prepare material quantity estimates for substations. Calculate cut and fill quantities, foundation design, providing material quantities for both concrete and steel for construction specifications, and determining steel structures for substations using Civil 3D and other applicable software. Provide technical advice and consultation in the application of CAE/CAD system to engineering design functions. Work closely with individual engineers and technicians in order to take full advantage of the opportunities available with the CAE system for their applications. Serve as the authoritative source of technical information on CAE/CAD operational and maintenance procedures for your region. Develop and update standards and procedures for CAE/CAD users as well as standard specifications for the related materials, equipment, and software.     + 1+ years of experience building data engineering pipelines with MPP databases (for example AWS RedShift, Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Teradata), Lambda architecture design, database design, data modeling, Big Data Cloud (for example SPARK, Splunk, NoSQL), advanced analytics, AI/ML infrastructure solutions.

    + 1+ years of experience in one or more of the following: C, C++, C#/Java, .NET, Python, Object-Oriented Programming, CI/CD tools, scripting tools, and DevOps.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + 1+ years of experience in containers, serverless, streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, etc.), distributed systems design (SOA/microservices) concepts, and capabilities.

    + 2+ years of experience in large-scale software development/integration especially in Big Data/AI/ML.

    Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $109,744.00-$164,610.00

    *Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

    This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. **In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.**
