Data Science IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.

This position is directly responsible as a lead for the off-shift hours of operations (night/evening) in the various sections of the laboratory which includes: Chemistry, Blood Bank (Immunohematology), Hematology, Coagulation, Immunology, Microbiology, Urinalysis, Phlebotomy, Specimen Processing, and Send Outs. Responsibilities Performs a wide range of clinical laboratory tests/examinations per requests by medical staff for use in clinical diagnosis, patient screening, monitoring patient therapy, and status and other authorized purposes. Performs qualitative and quantitative analysis of blood and urine using a variety of analyzers. Performance of routine and specialized procedures in accordance with established methodology manuals, technical references, and precedents. Interprets Iris urinalysis and microscopic analysis of urine specimen. Performs cell examination and studies bodily fluids and cells to locate any abnormal cells. Incumbent must be familiar with microscopes and cell counters.
