This role is part of the marketing services team, which is responsible for creating and producing high-quality, multi-media assets that can be distributed through a variety of digital outlets as a means to market to prospective students, current students, alumni and other audiences relevant to GCU.

    Responsibilities:

    + Conceives of and develops creative solutions for addressing University initiatives through audio-visual mediums.

    + Produces, edits and distributes media content as required which may include photographs, motion pictures, motion graphics, animation, audio and music.

    + Executes shoots at designated location which includes the set up and direction of lighting, audio, camera operation and talent. Additionally, handles complex assignments requiring special lighting, multiple locations, special audio needs, and the use of custom graphics, and animation in the finished production.

    + Works closely with producer in charge, determines content and format of productions, operates editing equipment, and adapts shooting on location rapidly according to stakeholders’ feedback as necessary, handling in a sensitive and diplomatic manner.

    + Edits and assembles final visual/audio material creating compelling and visually interesting products; observes brand standards, ensures consistency and relevancy to production; monitors technical quality of end product; creates photo galleries and slideshows with audio.

    **GENERAL SUMMARY: Under close supervision, coordinates daily production for the production area including performing highly routine and repetitive production activities where work is of a machine loading and tending nature such as assembling and post-processing of inflators.**

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Coordinates daily production activities

    + Assures efficient start-up/end-of-shift/changeover

    + Communicates production-related information

    + Can do all the jobs of the line and area.

    + Coordinates planned maintenance assigned tasks

    + Loads materials which may include items such as diffusers, initiators, disk, support barrels, retainers, end caps, shorting clips, and canisters; unloads product from production equipment.

    + May check, correct or perform rework of inflators.

    + May perform electrical tests on inflators on an as needed basis.

    + Perform quality procedures/audits including dimensional and weld checks as required.

    + Performs visual inspection of completed inflators.

    + Performs traceability activities to ensure accurate tracking of product/materials.

    + Performs general housekeeping duties in work area.

    + Performs TPM maintenance.

    + Operates drillout machine and dispose of scrap.
