Seek Now is searching for capable 1099 independent sub-contractors to provide accurate, impartial, and complete home and commercial property inspections.
Our 1099 Field Inspectors are the frontline experts who assist and collect data for our clients in the Property Insurance, Facility Management, and Real Estate sectors.
Essential Expectations:
+ Ability and willingness to access and inspect steep and/or high roofs
+ Lift, carry, and set up ladders and other equipment up to 100 pounds
+ Sketch and measure roof and/or room components
+ Scope the area of different sized and shaped roofs, rooms, and other inspection areas
+ Perform accurate, impartial, and complete inspections, which includes but is not limited to identification of age and condition

The Opportunity
We are hiring an Auto Appraiser (Virtual) in the Phoenix, Metro, AZ area. You will within defined guidelines and framework responsible to investigate, evaluate and appraise vehicle damage claims for both repairable and total loss vehicles to ensure estimate accuracy in compliance with state laws and regulations. Accountable for delivering exceptional member service through setting appropriate expectations, proactive communications, advice, and emotional intelligence.
**The Opportunity**
**What you'll do:**
+ With the use of digital tools, evaluates and appraises moderately complex (non-drivable, material loss, auto physical damage) auto claims in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract, corporate guidelines, and state laws and regulations.
+ Investigates claim damages including communicating with the insured and third-parties/vendors. May require face-to-face interactions with members and third parties.
+ Reviews facts of loss and vehicle damage to determine if subrogation opportunities exist and makes the appropriate, timely system referral.
+ Demonstrates intermediate knowledge of P&C insurance industry products, services, contracts, and internal processes/systems/procedures to ensure compliance.
+ Reviews claims/suppliers for fraud indicators and to Special Investigative Unit for handling, if applicable.
+ Maintains accurate and current claim file documentation throughout the claims process for moderate to complex claims. Includes mapping of repair plan and timeline for repair.
+ Responsible for reviewing additional damages received from repair facilities to either complete a supplement or triage to field provider method of inspection.
+ Explains coverage, assists policyholders with information on repairs and describes the settlement process, setting appropriate expectations. Issues settlement amounts for damages claimed.
+ Supports workload surges and/or Catastrophe Operations as needed which may involve volunteering for extended hours.
+ Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
**What you have:**
+ High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma required.
+ 1 year of auto appraising experience.
+ Knowledge of P&C insurance policy contracts and coverages, auto parts distribution process and claim appraisal process and procedures.
+ Acquisition and maintenance of insurance adjuster license within 90 days and designated number of attempts.

Auto Desk Appraiser
**PRIMARY PURPOSE** **:** To evaluate and prepare estimates for auto vehicles involved in a loss.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Appraises and determines costs of repairs to damaged vehicle by reviewing photos and supporting documentation; determines repair versus replace and parts utilization.
+ Evaluates and determines if the vehicle is repairable or salvageable based on industry standard estimatics software.
+ Prepares estimates using estimatics software.
+ Works directly with auto repair facilities to determinate supplemental repair processing and provides a supplemental estimate.
+ Negotiates agreed scope of repairs with repair facilities.
**ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
+ Travels as required.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Education & Licensing**
High school diploma or GED required. Licenses as required by state guidelines.
**Experience**
Three (3) years of related experience to include at least one (1) year of appraisal experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
**Skills & Knowledge**
+ Strong knowledge of automobiles
+ Ability to understand and utilize appraisal software
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
+ PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
+ Analytical and interpretive skills
+ Strong organizational skills
+ Excellent interpersonal skills
+ Excellent negotiating skills
+ Ability to create and complete comprehensive, accurate and constructive written reports
+ Ability to work in a team environment
+ Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
