    **This Opportunity**

    WSP is currently initiating a search for an **Associate Project Controller** to join our expanding, Earth and Environment (E&E) Project Management group based in **Lakewood, CO** . The following location will also be considered: Tucson, AZ. In this junior role, you will be involved in selected stages of a project’s life cycle (i.e. Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Control, and/or Closure) for consulting services related to earth and environment projects including site characterization and remediation, environmental permitting and compliance, water/wastewater treatment, and mining. Most components of this role will relate to engineering and/or environmental consulting scopes. The role will be focused on technical practice areas in our earth and environment business such as site assessment and remediation, geotechnical engineering, geosciences, surface water, and groundwater in aspects of projects ranging from site characterization, permitting and planning, desktop analyses, feasibility studies, research and detailed design. This Associate Project Controller will work closely with Project Managers and Technical Managers to ensure the correct delivery of projects within budget and schedule.

    **Your Impact**

    + Setting up and coordinating the project according to the approach outlined in the WSP’s Project Delivery Manual and in line with established quality control procedures

    + Assisting Project Manager, project team and client, under supervision and oversight of higher-level Project Controls Manager or Lead: monitoring and control of budgets, expenditures, schedules, progress deliverables, forecast, invoicing, change management, resourcing requirements, logistics coordination, document control, proposal preparation and project closeout activities

    + Assisting with preparation of subcontractor and supplier work orders, purchase orders, and invoicing payments

    + Assisting with preparation of production of high quality technical and professional deliverables for projects, including but not limited to:

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in environmental, science, engineering or related degree OR in lieu of a degree, 2-3 years' of related experience

    Experienced senior-level project accountant professional providing accounting and financial specialist support to one or more Project Managers and/or project team(s). Develops project work breakdown structure, project budgets, margin analysis, and creates associated funding in Oracle for larger and/or more complex projects.
