Concrete Foreman

To oversee, direct, and manage activities of workers concerned with assigned construction phases pertaining to curb and gutter, handicap ramps, scuppers, catch basins, roadways, and all other concrete related construction projects; in cooperation with other Foremen, Superintendents, and General Superintendent.

Work Qualifications :

+ Ability to read blue prints.

+ Knowledge of leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.

+ Knowledge of organizational operating practices or procedures.

+ Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in construction projects.

+ Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

+ Ability to motivate, develop, train, and direct people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.

+ Ability to manage own time and the time of others.

+ Ability to follow oral and written directions, plans, specifications, and contract documents.

+ Ability to work without close supervision and be able to adapt to a wide variety of conditions.

+ Takes pride in craftsmanship.

+ Possesses a valid Drivers License.

+ Bilingual preferred.

Education & Work Experience Requirements:

+ Five (5) or more years’ experience running a crew; AND,

+ Minimum 5 years’ construction experience

+ Possesses a valid Driver’s License.

+ Bidwell experience a must

+ Structural concrete experience a must
