The Launch Missile Defense System is seeking a **Financial Analyst (Level 2) or Principal Financial Analyst (Level 3)** to join our team in **Chandler, AZ** . This position can be filled with either the level 2 or level 3 base on qualifying years of experience.

**In this role, the selected candidate will:**

+ Assisting in all aspects of financial planning, analysis, reporting and forecasting

+ Preparing monthly forecasts and Operation Review packages and analysis for senior management

+ Collaborating with Division leadership team on financial planning and analysis

+ Supporting the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP) process for the division including multi-year awards, sales, profit, operating cash, investment and balance sheet forecasts and analysis

+ Teaming with the Assistant Controller on consolidation and reporting of quarterly and annual deliverables in support of the external SEC reporting and earnings release

+ Interfacing and coordinating with the three Business Unit Business Management teams regarding all financial planning, forecasting, and reporting functions

+ Collaborating with the Business Unit and across NG Space sector financial reporting teams to ensure alignment and continuous improvement of the financial planning, reporting, and close process

+ Division subject matter expert for financial reporting systems

+ Coordinating with Sector Business Management on monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting

+ Performing miscellaneous financial support and project work, as required

**Basic Qualifications:**

**Level 2**

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management (or related field) with 3+ years of related professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 1+ years of related professional experience

+ Experience using MS Office applications including Word and Excel

**Level 3**

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management (or related field) with 6+ years of related professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 4+ years of related professional experience

+ Experience with cost management, finance management, or pricing and estimating

+ Advance experience using MS Office applications including Word and Excel

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Prior experience in the Aerospace or Defense industry

+ Costpoint or SAP experience

+ Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

+ Experience collaborating with technical functions or projects/programs

+ Executive presentation skills

+ Accounting knowledge including balance sheet and income statement analysis

+ Cognos Analytics experience

**Salary Range:** $62,200 - $93,400

**Salary Range 2:** $76,600 - $115,000

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
