**The Department of Emergency Medicine at Banner University Medical Center in Tucson is actively seeking an Emergency Medicine physician.** This is an exciting role for a dynamic physician to join a faculty team involved in medical education, including key teaching roles for medical students, residents and fellows. The physician hired will have a faculty appointment at the University of Arizona with the appointment being consistent with the candidate's credentials.

**Essential Functions**

+ Full-time position

+ Shift-based scheduling, shifts will vary

+ Will support two campuses; overall average patient volume: 136,000 annually

+ EMR: Cerner

+ Constant learning environment

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ BC/BE in Emergency Medicine

+ Excellent clinical skills

+ Interest in teaching/mentoring residents

+ Excellent bedside teaching

+ Team player

**Highly Desired Qualifications**

+ Previous experience in academic medicine

+ Fellowship training in an aligned medical sub-specialty
