**Job Summary**

Functions in a junior level capacity. Responsible for performing routine aspects of consulting and specialty assignments requiring increased knowledge and application of basic principles in practice area. Works under close supervision of a team leader.

+ Production: . Prepares and verifies studies of limited scope in practice area

+ Performs more complex analyses and develops recommendations

+ May participate in field studies and project site visits

+ Assists in preparation of analysis reports, studies, and assessments

+ Coordination: . Seeks out supervisor or project leadership to share information and gain guidance with respect to assignment details and coordination

+ Coordinates with others as assigned by supervisor or project leadership

+ Capability: . Recognizes and applies appropriate technical methods in completing assignments

+ Contributes to identifying issues and developing recommended solutions on study assignments

+ Knowledge: . Provides professional judgment based on industry knowledge in discussing ideas and seeking necessary approvals

+ Resources: . Contributes to the development of improved tools and processes

+ People: . Performs as an individual contributor

+ Sponsors new staff

+ Business: . May provide support to business development or pursuit activities

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Bachelor degree in engineering or professional degree in Sciences in area of expertise preferred with specialized training, or experience that uniquely qualifies the individual to perform the job responsibilities

**Minimum Qualifications**

A minimum total of 1 year of related work experience is typically necessary to move into this level. Graduate work may count as related work experience if directly applicable to job function.
