Description

Our client, a reputable organization in the non-profit industry, is in need for an Accounting Clerk on a Temp-to-hire basis! This is near downtown Tucson, AZ, and will focus on assisting with the grant billing process, which includes tasks such as running reports from our accounting system, pulling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) backup, and filing.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the grant billing process, including running reports from the accounting system

• Pulling AP and AR backup to ensure accurate record-keeping

• Filing and maintaining organized records of all accounting activities

• Processing invoices and ensuring they are accurately entered into the system

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis tasks

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Resolving customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Maintaining accurate customer credit records and processing customer credit applications efficiently.

Requirements

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

• Proficiency in Data Entry

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong numerical and analytical abilities

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Openness to recent graduates and those with no prior professional experience.
