We are seeking a **_Principal Program Manager – Lease Sustainability Execution_** responsible for the Leased data center portfolio who will be instrumental in executing sustainability programs developed by the Program Management Office (PMO) within the Leased Data Center portfolio of Microsoft CO+I Lease and Land Development (LLD). This leader will use their knowledge of the industry to guide our strategy and build relationships. **Responsibilities**

+ Lead the implementation of advanced data collection and validation strategies, ensuring comprehensive coverage and high data integrity.

+ Drive innovation in sustainability data management, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to enhance data accuracy and reliability.

+ Collaborate with the LLD PMO to establish best practices and standards for sustainability data across the leased site portfolio.

+ Orchestrate the rhythm of business with a focus on strategic alignment and execution excellence, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged.

+ Act as a key liaison between the PMO and Lessor Relationships functions, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration for development scope updates.

+ Proactively identify and address potential challenges in the business cycle, implementing solutions to maintain continuity and progress.

+ Spearhead the execution of comprehensive telemetry implementation plans, driving the adoption of smart technologies for enhanced sustainability monitoring.

+ Evaluate and iterate on telemetry strategies to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the leased data center portfolio and sustainability objectives.

+ Lead the negotiation and execution of contractual updates, establishing frameworks for effective and secure two-way data sharing with lessors.

+ Work closely with the lessor engagement team to ensure contractual terms align with Microsoft’s strategic goals and data governance standards.

+ Champion data transparency and collaboration, fostering a culture of shared responsibility and mutual benefit in sustainability efforts.

+ Ensure the highest standards of responsiveness and accuracy in addressing lessor inquiries, setting the benchmark for excellence in stakeholder communication.

+ Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base to facilitate quick and informed responses to a wide range of external requests.

+ Cultivate a proactive approach to lessor engagement, anticipating needs and providing preemptive support to foster partnerships.

+ Take a leadership role in the continuous monitoring and management of sustainability performance across leased sites, driving improvements and accountability.

+ Implement robust systems for identifying and addressing non-conformance, ensuring swift resolution and adherence to sustainability standards.

+ Engage cross-functional teams in the development of corrective action plans, leveraging diverse expertise to achieve sustainability targets.

**Qualifications**

**Required Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Real Estate, Project Management, or related field AND 7+ years relevant experience

+ OR 10+ years equivalent experience.

+ 7+ years’ experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ 10+ years’ experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

+ Organizational skills with demonstrated adaptability and resilience.

+ Proficiency in use of process improvement methodology (ex. Lean, Six Sigma, and Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control (DMAIC)-Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control).

Real Estate Portfolio Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $124,800 - $266,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $159,000 - $292,200 per year.
