Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector is looking for you to join our team as a Data Team Software Engineer/Product Owner. **This position can be located out of Aurora, CO, Fairfax, VA, Linthicum, MD,**

The Software Engineer/Product Owner position is responsible to understand the needs of the customer and decide the features of the product accordingly. The selected candidate will manage the development process, prioritize tasks for the team, and monitor the progress, administering backlogs will also come under the candidate responsibility. Candidate must have attention to details and be capable of leading the team in a way that achieves its goals. The candidate is accountable for maximizing the product value which can be achieved only by the proper goal-oriented working of the development team.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to** : Responsible for creating Epics and Stories for the data team supporting TEFoS Common IPT. Responsible for maintaining and updating the Software backlog for the Data team. Responsible for cross team Product Owner coordination with other SW teams, Integration, Test, Cyber, Networks, and Systems Engineering. To enhance the agile methodology used by analyzing the feedback of the customers. Responsible for validating teams work products.

**Software engineer to lead a development team as the Product Owner.**

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ **Active TS/SCI clearance required at time of application.**

+ Level 2: Bachelor’s degree in science with 2+ years of software development experience; 0+ years with a Master's; or 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

+ Level 3: Bachelor’s degree in science with 5+ years of software development experience; 3+ years with a Master's; or 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

+ Experience in Agile, JIRA, and Confluence

+ Experience with Java, Kubernetes, and Dockers

**Preferred Qualifications:**

It is preferred that a given candidate has some of the preferred qualification below. No expectation of all.

+ Proven experience as a Product Owner or other relevant roles.

+ Analytical mind with good problem-solving abilities.

+ Good verbal and written communication skills.

+ Excellent presentation skills and organization skills.

+ Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time and give good results even under pressure.

**Salary Range:** $89,400 - $134,200

**Salary Range 2:** $110,300 - $165,500

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
