Sealing

Primary Focus:
The primary role of the Sealer is to perform such duties as required to facilitate the assembly and fabrication of final products. Application of Industrial sealant.

Specific Accountabilities:
Assembly of piece parts into final product.
Unloading products received and loading finished products for delivery.
Shop hygiene and 5-S program.
Perform all duties in accordance with the Silent-Aire USA Incorporated safety program standards.
Assist trades people, Team Lead or Supervisor with responsibilities as directed in a safe, expedient manner.
Receive direction from Team Lead or Supervisor to find and confirm new duties.
Familiarize self with new project and duties.
Organize department and keep department clean during workday and a complete clean-up at the end of each work day.
Notify the Team Leader or Supervisor of any unsafe conditions, practices and/or procedures observed.
Ability to read tape measure to 1/16th of an inch is an asset
Other duties as required.

Working Conditions:
Safety policies must be adhered to at all times.
It is very important that the incumbent of this position is able to work and communicate with prudence, while effectively managing time, completing tasks, and working safely.
Use of Personal Protection Equipment will be required (e.g. safety glasses, safety boots, ear protection, etc.).
Regularly works near moving parts.
Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.
Noise levels can fluctuate from quiet to loud.
May work in tight spaces
Hazards associated with the industry.
Education and Experience:
Completion of high school or equivalent education (additional education or apprenticeship program which compliments the Laborer’s performance is preferred).
Experience with all safe practices, procedures, and overall processes associated with manufacturing from raw materials to finished product.
Ability to read a standard tape measurer to 1/16"
Comfortable working from ladders and scissor lift, as required
