The Money In Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing a team of front line processors. The teams primary function is the processing of periodic payroll deductions for contributions and loan repayments into various types of retirement plans. The processing of the payroll deductions includes the identification of files in good order, editing the data, reconciling the data, requesting funding from the plan sponsors, posting of the files, and reconciling of the posting. Other responsibilities include managing the asset received, client contact, participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
Profile Description:
Manages staff and processes to ensure exceptional customer service. Introduces and maintains self-directed work initiatives.
Manages work and self-directed team(s). Selects, leads and coaches staff members. Establishes overall direction of team. Identifies and implements training efforts for team members. Makes compensation, hiring and termination decisions.
Develops and monitors processing procedures. Identifies potential process enhancements to administrative and computer systems.
Establishes and monitors unit cost objectives and quality service standards, etc.
Contributes to department/divisional objectives. Provides input to product development, policy service procedures, and/or new business and service goals. Coordinates team’s action plan to accomplish goals/objectives.
Other duties as assigned. ​
Knowledge & Experience:
BA Degree in related discipline or equivalent
3-5 years work experience in related field
In-depth financial industry, general business and related legal issues
Knowledge of systems, technology and equipment
Strong leadership skills; ability to handle multiple priorities, strong oral and written communication skills
