Participates in a variety of grounds maintenance duties including trimming, shrubs, weed abatement, mowing, and digging lawns, raking recreation areas, watering plants and trees and sweeping. Maintains and renovates lawn bowling turf areas; maintains infield and softball fields, marks foul lines. Waters planters and plants flowers. Picks up litter from grounds and parking lot and empties trash containers throughout assigned ground area. Transports, equipment from recreations center to recreation center. Inspects, maintains, and repairs landscape equipment. Participates in pest control operations as needed. Assists in preparing the Center for special projects and participating in setting pavers, mixing, pouring, and finishing in concrete. Participates in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems.

Job 4: Requirements (limited to 150 words)
Experience in landscape maintenance required. Knowledgeable in the use of small power tools and equipment and lawn maintenance equipment, pruning trees/shrubs; planting and application of fertilizers and pesticides preferred. Must be able to communicate in English and to follow verbal instructions. A valid Arizona driver’s license and good driving record is required.
