    Located approximately 50 miles northeast of Safford, Arizona on U.S. Highway 191, Morenci operations (an open-pit copper mining complex) has been in continuous operation since 1939. The operation consists of two concentrators, crushed-ore leach pad and stacking system, a low-grade run-of-mine (ROM) leaching system; four SX plants; and three EW tank houses that produce copper cathode.

    Morenci is a unique company town where our employees and their families can reconnect with nature through hiking, fishing, camping, hunting and numerous parks.     **Description**

    Under general supervision, supervises, coordinates and controls the safe and efficient operation of an assigned work unit.

    + Assigns, supervises, and reviews the work of staff for assigned work unit

    **PAY RANGE**

    The Target Pay Range for this position is $178,900.00-$218,400.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $138,800.00 - $258,500.00 annually.     + For Principal Level: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline and 5 years' experience; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD. Experience can be considered in lieu of degree

    + Experience with at least one S/C Subsystem (ADCS/GNC, command and data handling, communications, power, Thermal, flight software, orbital planning, and dynamics, etc.)

    + System engineering experience or significant classwork in system engineering or system design

    + Experience writing technical documents for internal or external customers

    + Experience with scripting

    + Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance

    + Experience with LabView and Simics

    + Experience in an operational environment

    **Preferred Qualifications:**

    + Ability to work within a group of diversified individuals with varying backgrounds to achieve mission success.

    + Support of readiness activities to include Mission Readiness Tests (MRTs), Mission Rehearsals (MRs), Day In The Life (DITL) and daily operations testing.

    + Experience with spacecraft launch campaigns

    + Familiarity with training and certification programs for space system operators

    + Experience working on government systems and/or government process environment

    + Current Active Security Clearance (TS/SCI)

    + Prior experience conducting on-orbit mission operations or resolving satellite/ground system anomalies

    + Experience with PERL scripting

    **Salary Range:** $75,300 - $112,900

    **Salary Range 2:** $92,600 - $139,000

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
